Pop The Plan ("Pop The Plan", "we", "us", "our") provides a wedding planning application and related websites and services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Service.

A. Account and authentication information

  • Google sign-in information: When you sign in using Google, we receive information associated with your Google account such as your email address and may receive your name and profile image, depending on what Google provides.
  • Account identifiers: We store internal identifiers needed to operate your account and keep you signed in.

B. Wedding planning data you choose to enter

The Service is designed for you to create and store wedding planning data. Depending on what you use, this may include:

  • Wedding settings (e.g., wedding date, timezone, partner names)
  • Tasks and checklists, including notes, due dates, status, owners, and approval fields
  • Timeline items (planning milestones and wedding-day run sheets)
  • Budget data, including categories, expense items, payment schedules, and status
  • Vendors, rentals, and accommodations information
  • Motif/design data, including palettes, attire guidance, moodboards, comparisons, and florals

C. Guest and other third-party information

You may choose to store information about other people in the Service (for example, guests). This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, RSVP status, seating assignments, and notes.

You represent that you have the right to provide this information and that you will use it in compliance with applicable law.

D. Files and images you upload

You can upload images (for example, Motif moodboard/floral inspiration images). We store uploaded files in our storage provider and generate authenticated links for access within your account.

E. Usage data, analytics, and performance data

When you use the Service, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information (e.g., user agent, language, approximate device characteristics)
  • Pages viewed and interactions
  • Performance and diagnostic data (e.g., page load timing and performance measurements)

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure traffic and performance.

F. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Authentication/session management (keeping you signed in)
  • Security
  • Analytics and performance measurement

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable certain cookies, parts of the Service may not function properly.

2) How we use information

We use information to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session

  • Service providers: We use third parties to operate the Service, such as Convex (backend/database), Google (authentication), Polar (billing), and Vercel (analytics).

  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4) Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service to you
  • Maintain your account
  • Comply with legal obligations (for example, records related to payments/subscriptions)

5) Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect information. However, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6) Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
